Marketo Product Donation Program Gives Non-Profits a Leg-up
SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 29, 2016 -- Marketo, Inc., the leading provider of marketing software and solutions, today announced a new initiative designed to accelerate marketing at not-for-profit organizations worldwide. With the support of the Marketing Nation®, a vibrant community of Marketo's customers, partners, employees, and more, social good marketers are now able to apply for a free, one-year Marketo license to help take their efforts to the next level. The first program recipient is Chicago-based theater group The Hypocrites, and Marketo is now accepting applications for additional participants.

Non-profits from any industry who meet the following criteria can apply:
- Eligibility – Applicants must have 501(c)3 status or an international equivalent and an annual operating budget of $2 million or less. They must also have a Marketing Nation sponsor that has knowledge of the product and will leverage the software with or on their behalf.
- Submission Process – Applicants must provide a demonstrated use plan, include high-level company details, and outline how its database will benefit from access to Marketo's technology. To apply, click here.
- Benefits – Recipients will receive a one-year full, free license and complete on-boarding support, including a Marketo account manager.
This initiative is part of Marketo Engaged, Marketo's social good program, which was launched early this year at the Marketing Nation Summit. Marketo Engaged focuses on building better communities and supporting under-resourced students on their personal journeys toward college and career success. Between 2015 and 2016, Marketo employees donated more than 4,900 hours of service giving back to their communities. Earlier this year, the company celebrated its second-annual Global Volunteer Month, which focused on skills-based workshops and other outreach projects to local students and schools.
In addition to meeting the above criteria, The Hypocrites was recognized as an organization that is uniting communities with a common interest or goal.
