Steve joined Marketo as chief executive officer in November 2016. He is an experienced executive with more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software. Prior to Marketo, Steve served as president of SAP’s Platform Solutions, where he led the company’s multi-billion-dollar growth and expansion into a range of technology markets. Steve joined SAP from Salesforce, where he led the expansion of the company into cloud-based enterprise application development.
Steve has held senior leadership positions at a number of leading enterprise, cloud, and analytics technology companies, including Microsoft, BusinessObjects, and Crystal Decisions. He has co-chaired various government technology leadership initiatives, including the TechAmerica BigData committee.
Steve is currently a member of the board of directors of TiVo and the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Steve holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Colorado and is a published co-author of several books on business intelligence software.
Sarah is Marketo’s chief marketing officer. She joined the company in October 2017, bringing with her nearly 15 years of technology marketing expertise.
Prior to Marketo, Sarah spent 10 years at Sabre Corporation, most recently as vice president, Global Marketing, and managing director, Digital Experience. In addition to being tapped to lead Sabre’s in-house interactive agency, Sarah served as CMO of Hospitality Solutions, the company’s fastest growing business unit, where she transformed the marketing organization into a global demand generation and growth engine. Sarah also spent nearly three years as the head of Sabre Labs, the travel industry’s first R&D and emerging technology incubator, where she forged landmark innovation partnerships to explore how emerging technologies can enhance the travel experience.
Sarah is a globally recognized thought leader on emerging technology, loyalty, and customer experience and sits on the boards of Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and TECH Fort Worth, a nonprofit startup accelerator. She holds a BBA from Baylor University and an MBA specializing in marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Greg joined Marketo as chief operating officer in December 2016. He is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience leading sales and operations for enterprise technology companies. In his role, Greg is responsible for driving Marketo’s broad growth initiatives and unifying management of strategy, execution, and accountability of the entire organization as the company grows and evolves.
Greg was executive vice president and general manager, Americas, at SAP’s Business Objects before leaving the company to found Emalex, a consulting firm for business-to-business technology companies, in 2009. At Business Objects, he led the organization through hyper-growth and saw the company become the number one business intelligence provider in the world with over $1 billion in revenue, millions of licensed users, and more than 5,000 employees. He previously held leadership positions at Crystal Decisions (acquired by Business Objects in 2004) and Xerox.
Greg attended the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Mark joined Marketo as chief financial officer in April 2017. He brings more than 20 years as a finance leader at technology companies, most recently as CFO of ACTIVE Network. As Marketo’s CFO, he manages the company’s global financial operations, human resources, accounting, and tax functions.
Prior to ACTIVE, Mark held the position of executive vice president and CFO of LHP Hospital Group and EVP and CFO of Sabre Holdings. During his 10 years with Sabre, he also served as the company’s controller. Mark was previously CFO and vice president of finance at GetThere, which is part of Sabre Travel Network. Over the course of his career, he has led multiple business transformation initiatives, completed more than 20 mergers and acquisitions, and consistently driven operational and financial excellence.
Mark holds a master of business administration (MBA) from Rice University.
Eric joined Marketo as chief sales officer in January 2017. He is a proven enterprise technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise-level brands to meet and exceed their revenue goals. As CSO, he oversees Marketo’s global sales operations.
Prior to Marketo, he served as president of the Americas at Qlik. There, he oversaw a team of more than 250 people across sales, pre-sales, business development, and consulting that drove 40 percent of the company’s annual revenue. Prior to Qlik, he served as executive vice president of Global Enterprise Sales at BlackBerry. Eric joined BlackBerry after more than two years at SAP where he was senior vice president and general manager, Global Database & Technology. Eric was with relational database server provider Sybase before it was acquired by SAP. During his tenure there, he held numerous global operations positions including senior vice president and general manager, North America. Eric has also held sales roles at webMethods, Aleri, and Tele-Art HK Ltd., and was a Yen Options Trader early in his career.
Eric holds a bachelor of arts (BA) in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is fluent in English and German.
Manoj joined Marketo as chief product officer in May 2017. He has more than 25 years of experience in sales acceleration, advertising technology, marketing automation, CRM, big data analytics, enterprise search, and content management. As Marketo’s CPO, he is responsible for the product and engineering teams that oversee the Marketo Engagement Platform.
Prior to joining Marketo, Manoj served as Velocify’s chief operating officer, leading the product, technology, and client success teams. Manoj also served as senior vice president of engineering at the advertising technology pioneer OpenX, where he drove strategy, engineering, data science, and support. He also spearheaded the introduction of a massive-scale database and analytics solution as executive of Cloud Services at Hewlett-Packard and served as vice president for EMC’s information management platform.
Manoj earned his master of science (MS) in computer science from the University of Southern California and a bachelor of arts (BA) in economics and a bachelor of science (BS) in computer science from UC San Diego.
Robin joined Marketo as senior vice president, Business Development in March 2016. She has more than 20 years of partner strategy and marketing experience across both SaaS and traditional industries. In her role, Robin leads Marketo’s Business Development, Strategic Alliances, and Partner teams.
Prior to Marketo, Robin held several leadership positions, notably vice president of Partner Strategy and Alliances at Adobe, and vice president Strategic Alliances and GTM at Salesforce. In those roles, she helped to build and define partner value and the model for hyper-growth and innovation with and through partners. At SAP, Robin joined Global Marketing and then moved to the partner organization to support and scale programs through SMB and channel partners and systems integration program management. Robin started her career at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers building equity and commodity derivative products and markets.
Robin holds a bachelor of science (BS) in biomedical engineering from Duke University.
Matt is Marketo’s chief customer officer, overseeing Customer Success and Global Enablement. He previously served as Marketo’s interim chief marketing officer and group vice president of Product and Solution Marketing.
Before joining Marketo in 2013, Matt helped launch LineStream Technologies as the vice president of Marketing. Previously, he spent time at Texas Instruments and Rovi corporation, where he held positions in sales, marketing, business development, and product management.
Matt holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Santa Clara University and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
Yasutaka Fukuda is president of Asia Pacific-Japan, overseeing all operations in Japan, as well as Marketo’s presence in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. He has been instrumental in Marketo’s successful entry into the Japanese market through Marketo KK, the company’s joint venture with Dentsu Digital Inc., and SunBridge Corporation.
Yasutaka joined Marketo in 2014 after ten years at Salesforce.com, where held numerous positions including senior vice president of commercial sales in Japan. Prior to Salesforce, he spent eight years with Oracle both in Japan and the company’s U.S. headquarters.
Based in Tokyo, Yasutaka is a graduate of Japan’s Waseda University and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Jamie is Marketo’s president of EMEA, overseeing overall business operations in the region. He is a recognized thought leader in the customer engagement and CRM space and noted for his track record in building winning teams.
Jamie joined Marketo in October 2017, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in marketing and business development. Prior to Marketo he served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer at SAP Hybris, where he was responsible for leading marketing teams to drive customer engagement and business growth across several product portfolios. In addition to 11 years at SAP, Jamie has held leadership roles at Adobe and Siebel.
Working with numerous brands to redefine customer experience throughout his career, Jamie draws upon his experience as a product developer, solution architect, marketer, and business developer. He holds a bachelor’s of science in computer information systems from Glasgow Caledonian University in the United Kingdom.
TK joined Marketo as group vice president of Strategy and general manager of Engagement Apps in April 2017, focusing on corporate development and shaping Marketo's position as the leading Engagement Platform. Additionally, he works cross-functionally to drive the thinking and success of applications for sales enablement, account-based sales and marketing, and pipeline generation that are part of the Marketo Engagement Platform.
TK joined Marketo through the acquisition of ToutApp, a leading sales engagement platform, where he was CEO and founder and grew the company to a multi-million-dollar business.
TK has a double degree in computer science and management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and although most of his time is spent helping customers to transform their companies into engagement organizations, he still codes on weekends.
Kate is Marketo’s president of sales for the Americas. She joined Marketo from Oracle Marketing Cloud, where she was most recently group vice president of sales for North America. Over the course of her more than 30-year career in enterprise software, she has led top-performing sales organizations for both mature and early-stage companies with aggressive growth goals.
Prior to Oracle, FitzGerald served as vice president, Worldwide Sales, for Salesforce.com’s Service Cloud, building a team from the ground up and pioneering a new selling model for the company’s customer service and contact center applications.
FitzGerald has also held senior leadership positions at Siebel Systems and Signal Demand.
Sterling Miller is Marketo’s general counsel. He is an award-winning legal thought leader with a breadth of multinational technology experience. He joined Marketo from Hilgers Graben PLLC, where he was senior counsel focusing on commercial, litigation, and data privacy issues.
Prior to Hilgers Graben, Sterling served as general counsel, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary for Sabre Inc. and Travelocity.com. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Terrasoul Superfoods, the advisory board of Travefy.com, and as a member of the American Bar Association’s Task Force for Legal Project Management. A published author with two books, Sterling frequently writes about in-house legal issues for Thompson Reuters and on his own blog, “Ten Things You Need to Know as In-House Counsel.”
Sterling received his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He is certified in data privacy and data security issues by the IAPP.
Kathy is chief of staff for the Office of Marketo’s CEO, Steve Lucas. She has a 20-year track record in marketing and MarTech.
Kathy joined Marketo in 2017 after four years at Oracle Marketing Cloud. There she managed the Industry Solutions Best Practices team, overhauled the OMC Partner Enablement Program, and lead the Market Readiness Operations Group for JAPAC and Latin America. Prior to that, Kathy introduced and developed the Marketing Operations function at First Data Corporation.
Kathy lives in Denver with her husband and two children.
Teresa joined Marketo in March 2017 as senior vice president, Human Resources, and is responsible for recruiting, employee development, and training. In this role, Teresa leads the management and implementation of quality-based, integrated human resources programs, talent acquisition, and employee development.
Teresa brings 15 years of experience in HR as well as 10 years in customer operations. Most recently, she led HR at Cvent (formerly Lanyon). Prior to Cvent, Teresa worked in healthcare IT for more than 20 years in a variety of roles.
