Phil is a Silicon Valley veteran, with more than 30 years of experience building and leading breakout technology companies. Phil co-founded Marketo in 2006, and has led the company’s product vision and unique marketing and sales strategy to help Marketo become an acknowledged leader in digital marketing technology. Before Marketo, Phil was President and COO of Epiphany, a public enterprise software company known for its revolutionary marketing and analytics products. Earlier, he was COO at Red Brick Systems and held leadership positions at Metaphor Computer Systems, Stanford University Medical Center, and Masstor Systems. Phil is a well-known writer and speaker on topics related to digital marketing, marketing automation, big data, and entrepreneurialism, and is the author of Revenue Disruption (Wiley, 2012), which delivers bold new strategies for any company to transform its sales and marketing to accelerate revenue growth. Phil holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Stanford University.

Fred Ball
Chief Financial Officer

Fred has more than 20 years of business leadership experience from his tenure at both private and public companies. As CFO, he applies business and financial acumen, and his experience in corporate development, to scaling Marketo’s business and driving operational efficiencies. Most recently, Fred served as CFO of Webroot, a global provider of internet security services for consumers and businesses. Previously, he was CFO of BigBand Networks (NASDAQ: BBND), leading the company through an initial public offering in 2007, and before that was COO of CallTrex Corporation. Fred has also held senior leadership roles at Borland Software Corporation, KLA-Tencor Corporation (NASDAQ: KLAC) and spent over ten years working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He serves on the board of Electro-Scientific Industries (NASDAQ: ESIO) and Advanced Energy (NASDAQ: AEIS). Fred holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Steve Winter
EVP, Worldwide Sales & Operations

Steve Winter is the Executive Vice President responsible for Worldwide Sales and Operations at Marketo. A strategic executive with more than 20 years of experience, Steve previously held a number of key leadership positions at SAP. Most recently, he served as SAP’s global head of its Customer Line of Business Organization. During Winter’s nine years at SAP, he held several global leadership roles prior to heading its Customer LBO, including as the global head of Emerging Solutions for SAP where he was responsible for field and customer operations related to strategic solutions and new acquisition sales integration. Steve also served as the managing director for SAP UKI and as chief operating officer (COO) for SAP North America. Steve has held several other sales leadership roles for SAP including executive vice president of Enterprise Sales for SAP North America. Steve joined SAP in 2005 after a 12-year tenure with PeopleSoft, where he held various executive sales management roles, including vice president and general manager of the company’s Midwest region in Chicago. Steve was a founding partner of Sagebrook Technology Partners, where he focused on investment portfolio management, technology acquisitions, and organizational development from 1999 to 2003. In addition to his time with Sagebrook, Steve also served as interim CEO/president of Isochron Data Corporation from July 2000 through June 2001. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration of computer information systems from Georgia State University. Steve currently sits on the Board of Directors for Ziosk.

Sanjay Dholakia
Chief Marketing Officer

Sanjay is responsible for extending Marketo’s thought leadership, driving overall marketing operations, developing business segments, and expanding the reach of the company’s solution partner ecosystem and customer network. Sanjay joins Marketo from Crowd Factory, where as CEO, he was responsible for the strategic direction and vision of the company. Prior to Crowd Factory, Sanjay was CMO at Lithium Technologies, the leading provider of Social CRM and software solutions. While at Lithium, he helped achieve dramatic year-over-year growth. Prior to joining Lithium, he served as SVP and general manager for SumTotal Systems, and was an advisor at McKinsey & Company and Andersen Consulting. Sanjay holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in strategy and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management.

Chief Customer Officer

With over 15 years in customer-facing executive leadership roles within traditional and SaaS companies, Jason's role is to maximize the solution value and success of Marketo customers. He's charged with the execution of Marketo’s entire customer experience including professional services, education, support, service partner enablement, and ongoing customer adoption. Jason is capitalizing on his deep digital marketing domain expertise, customer knowledge and customer passion to lead Marketo’s customer success team as it creates and delivers the programs required to scale a world-class organization to meet the demands of a rapidly-growing customer base. Before to joining Marketo, Jason was VP of global professional services at Adobe Systems. Prior experience also includes VP of worldwide consulting at Omniture (acquired by Adobe), VP of consulting services at Oracle, and VP of Americas technical services, consulting and sales engineering at Hyperion Solutions (acquired by Oracle). Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University and an MBA in marketing from Northern Illinois University.

Margo Smith
SVP, Legal Affairs & General Counsel

Margo is responsible for Marketo's worldwide legal affairs and compliance. She has extensive experience representing public and private technology companies in M & A, commercial, compliance, litigation, IP, policy, privacy and international law matters. Most recently, Margo served as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at QuinStreet (NASDAQ: QNST), a digital marketing and media company. Margo previously was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), now a part of Advantest Corporation. Margo began her legal career at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she worked with public and private companies through all stages of their development. Margo earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington.

SVP, Human Resources

As Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Joan is responsible for leading Marketo’s Human Resources operations and practices. Joan has over 25 years of experience in senior HR positions in progressively managed companies, designing and implementing innovative, results-oriented human resources programs and best practices. She began her HR career at John Hancock where she took on a variety of roles in building the human capital of this leading financial services firm. She has held the top HR position at leading technology companies, including Responsys, ZANTAZ and ShoreTel. Joan has a Bachelor of Arts from Albertus Magnus College.

Bill Binch
SVP, Global SMB Sales

Bill leads Marketo's sales organization and is a key architect of the company's rapid sales growth. Prior to joining Marketo, Bill held leadership positions at Avolent, BEA Systems, PeopleSoft, and Oracle, where he built and managed sales organizations ranging from mid-market business customers to strategic accounts. In 2011, Bill received a Stevie® Award in the "Worldwide VP of Sales of the Year" category at the fifth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. Bill holds a bachelor's degree in business from Arizona State University.

David Morandi
Chief Technology Officer

David brings more than 25 years of enterprise and application software architecture and design experience to Marketo. As CTO, he applies his rich technical background to making Marketo’s technology powerful and enterprise class, yet easy-to-use. Most recently, David was CTO at Epiphany, where he led design teams working on metadata-driven applications, rich web user interface technology and highly scalable J2EE-based CRM applications. Before Epiphany, David was chief architect for Red Brick Systems. His earlier experience includes software development and management for Xerox Palo Alto, Network Computing, Inc., Metaphor Computer Systems and Masstor Systems. David holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Wyoming and completed graduate work at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Nick Bonfiglio
SVP, Product Development

Nick is responsible for global engineering, product management and cloud operations, including privacy services, at Marketo. Nick brings nearly 20 years of experience in product development, information technologies and customer service. Prior to Marketo, Nick managed development and revenue generating data centers for other leading companies, including CollabNet, Portera, and 3DO. He also served as the Chief Technologist for Lucasfilm where his team was at the forefront of inventing digital asset management solutions for the film industry during the creation of Star Wars Episode I. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/IT and he also holds a Masters in Business Administration from California State University.

Jason Hoffman
Chief Security Officer

Jason has more than 25 years of proven experience and leadership in the information technology, security, and risk management fields. As CSO, he leads Marketo’s Enterprise Security Organization responsible for all facets of security that cover Marketo’s platform, products, IT, and physical security. He will be responsible for managing Marketo’s comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program that is designed to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information that is owned, controlled, or processed by Marketo. Prior to Marketo, Jason served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for [24]7, a customer engagement cloud company providing software and services to help large enterprises improve their customer engagement experience. Prior to Marketo, Jason held security leadership roles at Autonomy (now HP), Kaiser Permanente, and Greater Bay Bank (now Wells Fargo). He also held security and audit positions at VeriSign, Wells Fargo Bank, and the University of California, San Francisco. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has earned certifications in the security and audit fields including CISM, CISSP, CISA and CIA.

Yasutaka Fukuda
Managing Director, Japan

Yasutaka Fukuda is President of Marketo’s Japanese subsidiary, Marketo KK. Based in Tokyo, Fukuda oversees all aspects of Marketo KK’s operations. Prior to Marketo, Fukuda served as senior vice president of Salesforce Co., Ltd. After joining the U.S. headquarters of Salesforce in 2004 and leading Japanese market operations, Fukuda assumed a position at the company’s Japanese subsidiary in 2005 and drove rapid growth in the Japanese market. Prior to Salesforce, Fukuda spent eight years with Oracle beginning in 1996, working at Oracle Corporation Japan and the company’s U.S. headquarters. Fukuda is a graduate of Waseda University in Japan and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in fast-growing global organizations, Greg is responsible for leading the company’s focus on its world-class technology infrastructure, including implementing and evolving information systems and tools that enable aggressive business growth. Most recently, Greg served as CIO at FrontRange Solutions, where he spent the last four years directing and managing all information technology, SaaS operations and facilities functions. Previously, he served as CIO and VP of information systems and technology at Witness Systems, a $250 million public company (acquired by Verint for $1 billion). Prior experience also includes, VP of worldwide customer services for Epiphany (acquired by SSA Global) and leadership positions at Inovis, Peregrine Systems, Harbinger, Premenos and Tandem Computers. Greg holds a degree in computer technology from CDI San Francisco and is also a graduate of Stanford University’s Professional Education program.

Regional Managing Director, Australia

As Regional Managing Director of Marketo, Greg Taylor is responsible for growing sales and customer retention for the region, as well as providing valuable feedback on the development of Marketo’s products. Through hard work, great listening skills, and having customer centricity at the core of what he does, Greg is working with the extended team to further grow the Marketo business in the region. Greg has joined Marketo after previously working as Managing Director at BMC Software and prior to that he was Managing Director at Software AG in ANZ. At BMC, Greg was focused on transforming for growth and was awarded the best performing region beginning of FY15. During his time at Software AG he helped grow the ANZ business to best growth business worldwide in 2013. From 2002-2012 Greg worked at Oracle culminating as VP of Fusion Middleware where the business became #1 in ANZ in the Middleware space prior to his departure.  Greg has extensive experience in the IT industry in the US, ANZ, and APAC having worked with customers ranging across various industry sectors, from SME to Enterprise and up to C-Level Business Execs. Migrating from San Francisco in 2002, Greg worked for Oracle in SF from 1997 to 2002 through the high growth phase of the IT industry in the Silicon Valley after graduating from UC Davis with Honors in 1997. Greg currently sits on the board of White Sky Labs.

Conor Shaw
Managing Director, EMEA

Conor Shaw is a highly experienced international business leader. As Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Conor leads Marketo’s expanding presence within EMEA and is responsible for overall business operations across the region. Conor has a wealth of experience leading high-performing sales organisations.  He joined Marketo from SAP where he previously held a number of key leadership positions, most recently as Vice President Mid-Market and Partners at SAP UK and Ireland. With more than 20 years of sales and marketing expertise, Conor has also held senior executive positions in Field, Inside Sales and Services at SAP, Oracle and Philips Semiconductors and set up and ran his own sales and marketing consultancy. Conor holds a Diploma in Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), a degree in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from the UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School. He is also a Business Advisor on the Enterprise Ireland/DIT International Selling Programme, a member of the DIT MBA Council and a Member of the Practice Advisory board for the Cranfield University MSc in Strategic Marketing.

Neeraj Agrawal is a General Partner at Battery Ventures, leading investments for the firm in enterprise software/SaaS, technology-enabled services and Internet companies. He was a founding investor in BladeLogic (acquired by BMC). His additional investments include Applimation (acquired by Informatica), Bazaarvoice, Brightree, Guidewire Software, Groupon (GRPN), Internet Brands (NASDAQ: INET), Omniture (acquired by Adobe), RealPage (NASDAQ: RP), and Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores).Neeraj joined Battery in 2000 and prior to that, he worked as a product manager at Real Networks, an operating executive at SkyTV, and a management consultant with Booz-Allen. Neeraj holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science from Cornell University as well as an MBA with honors from the  Harvard Business School. He is a Charter Member of TiE, an active advisor to several local entrepreneurs, and was named to the Forbes Midas List in 2011.

Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Visa Inc

Lynne Biggar joined Visa, Inc as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer in January 2016. Prior to that, she served as Executive Vice President, Consumer Marketing + Revenue at Time, Inc. where she oversaw a $1B+ consumer marketing program with a global team of over 1,300 professionals. She joined Time Inc. from American Express where she spent more than 20 years.  In her time there, she led key businesses including Consumer Travel, Membership Rewards & Strategic Card Services, and International Card Products & Experiences. She also spent several years leading American Express’s consumer product acquisition team, including launching an early customer engagement strategy. Susan L. Bostrom
Former EVP. Cisco Systems

Sue Bostrom is former executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Cisco Systems. With almost 14 years at Cisco Systems in a variety of roles and more than 20 years of strategic marketing experience, she was responsible for developing and communicating Cisco’s vision and strategy through positioning, branding, advertising, and product marketing. She also had responsibility for the Worldwide Government Affairs organization and Cisco’s Small Business Council. Ms. Bostrom also served as the executive sponsor of the Women’s Initiative at Cisco from 2001 through 2004. Prior to her role as Cisco’s chief marketing officer, Ms. Bostrom built and led the Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), bringing vertical expertise and Internet business best practices to Global Fortune 500 companies and heads of state. Previously, Ms. Bostrom held leadership positions at FTP Software, National Semiconductor and McKinsey & Company. She  serves on the board of directors for Varian Medical Systems, Cadence Design Systems, Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She also serves on the advisory board of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) and the Stanford Graduate School Business Advisory Council. Cammie Dunaway
Former U.S. President and Gobal Chief Marketing Officer, KidZania

Cambria (Cammie) Dunaway served as U.S. President and Global Chief Marketing Officer at KidZania, an international location-based entertainment concept focused on children's role-playing activities, from October 2010 to December 2014. From October 2007 to October 2010, Ms. Dunaway served as Executive Vice President for Nintendo, with oversight of all sales and marketing activities for the company in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Before joining Nintendo, Ms. Dunaway was Chief Marketing Officer for Yahoo! from June 2003 to November 2007. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Ms. Dunaway was at Frito-Lay for 13 years in various leadership roles in sales and marketing, including serving as the company's Chief Customer Officer and as Vice President of Kids and Teens brands. Roger S. Siboni has been a member of the Marketo Board of Directors since 2011. Roger was the Chairman and former CEO of Epiphany, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent customer interaction software. Before joining Epiphany, Roger was Deputy Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of KPMG Peat Marwick—a $9 billion, 85,000 person worldwide accounting and consulting organization. As COO, Roger led the firm to consecutive years of record revenue and profitability. Prior to becoming Deputy Chairman, as head of KPMG's Technology Practice, he grew that business by over 250 percent in his four years of leadership. Roger currently serves on numerous boards including Dolby and Cadence Design Systems, and has served on the boards of FileNet, Macromedia, ArcSight, InfoGroup, Active Software and Postini. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Roger is past Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Walter A. Hass School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.

At Sun, Wes served as vice president in the Java Enterprise System line of business, where he helped Sun achieve number one market share positions across several industry segments. Prior to Sun, he held several senior leadership positions at Network Associates, where he helped them grow from a $200M single product company into a $1B industry leader in networking and security in just under four years.
