I appreciate your company sharing this template! Thank you!
One resource you may consider to highlight the overall approach laid out in this template – “Corporate Publishing” – is a book by David Meerman Scott called The New Rules of Marketing & PR. While written several years ago, David highlights the need for businesses (of all sizes including B2B and B2C) to realize the impact they can personally have on creating traffic, leads, and overall branding/awareness through publishing VALUABLE content that connects them to their target audiences.
I’ll definitely be sharing with my clients and appreciate you taking the time to share this!

The New Digital Record industry, with the paradigm shift that has and is taking place in an industry that has gone from $20+ billion dollars a year industry, to just over $12.5 billion, that is concerning to say the least for a Independent Artist like myself and I’m sure I speak for quite a few others.
The major labels that are left, didn’t see or should we say failed to heed to the warning signs that they too must change and adapt to the innovations like Napster and limewire, whom seem to have almost single handily shut down a thriving industry. How could that be, through the access of FREE! music downloading, Illegally! or that is the presumption.
The damage is already done in the minds of the consumers, meaning they expect nothing less than free with almost every musical purchase, buy 1 get 1 Free! I have no problem with this but when major artist sell their entire cd for a mere .99cents, what are we as Indie artist to use as a price point, buy 1 @ .05cents get another free, it’s going to be a ruff livelihood for most.

Always better to start w/ a template vs. recreating the wheel.
