Kim is a skilled professional with over 12 years of progressive human resource management experience in both corporate and startup environments. As head of HR, she oversees talent management, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and HR strategy. Before joining Marketo, Kim was VP of HR for BigFix, which was acquired by IBM in 2010. Prior to BigFix, Kim led HR for wireless intelligence firm Telephia (acquired by Nielsen) and held HR roles across a diverse group of industries from enterprise software to biotech. Kim is a Certified Human Resources Professional (PHR), and a California Professional in Human Resources (CA PHR) Exam Question Writer for the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and women’s studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from San Jose State University.
