Sales Account Executive

Marketo is an explosive, fast growing marketing automation company based in San Mateo, CA. Responsibilities:

  • Close Sales! Use our software to nurture & drive campaigns in small, medium, and Fortune 500 companies
  • Sell the value proposition and close transactions
  • Canvas your territory to generate pipeline, qualify into leads, forecast accurately, manage sales resources, close deals, and support into production
  • Handle account planning, customer strategy, and deliver proposals
  • Host webinars and web presentations for prospects
  • Make our customers successful!
Requirements:
  • 3 – 7 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in an on-demand/SaaS business environment
  • Experience selling and closing software solutions in 60 days or less
  • A proven history of quota over-achievement
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and the skill to work in a fluid & fast growth environment
  • Teamwork skills a must
  • Four year university/college degree required
  • Knowledge/experience selling CRM, SFA, and marketing software a plus
  • Position based in San Mateo, CA
