Susanne Lyons
Susanne D. Lyons has held senior marketing and general management roles at some of the largest financial services companies in America. Most recently she was the Chief Marketing Officer for Visa USA, where she was responsible for all aspects of brand, advertising and marketing services for the world’s most successful payments company, and introduced the well-known campaign, Life Takes Visa. Prior to Visa, she spent 10 years at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., where she held various marketing and general management positions, including Enterprise President of Retail Client Services; President and General Manager of the $1 billion Active Trader business; and Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, Susanne spent ten years at Fidelity Investments, where she held senior positions in marketing, product development and business strategy.
In 1999, the Financial Women’s Association named her “Financial Woman of the Year”. She has also been named many times as one of the 50 Most Influential Bay Area Business Women. She was “Women of the Year” for the American Diabetes Association for 2005. In 2006, Susanne was named one of America’s top 50 Marketers by Advertising Age, as well as one of the B2B Marketers of the Year in 2007.
Keith Raffel
Keith is the author of the Silicon Valley mystery book, Dot Dead. Previously, he spent 20 years working there for high-tech companies, big and small. In 1997 he founded his own company, UpShot Corporation. UpShot won numerous awards from press and analysts including recognition from Enterprise Outlook as an “Investors’ Choice” and from Upside Magazine as a “Hot Company.” In the fall of 2003, UpShot was purchased by Siebel Systems, which, in the way of Silicon Valley, was itself swallowed by Oracle two years later. Encouraged by the success of Dot Dead, Keith has left Oracle and is currently writing full-time.
Rob Reid
As the past Group Vice President, Siebel CRM OnDemand, for Oracle Corporation, Rob Reid managed the team responsible for the new industry leading CRM On Demand solution. Rob came to Oracle from Siebel where he was responsible for On Demand Marketing and the IBM strategic relationship. Prior to Siebel, Rob was the President and CEO of UpShot, the OnDemand, CRM innovator which grew 10 times in three years under his leadership.
Rob has over 30 years of executive management and enterprise software experience. Prior to joining UpShot, Rob was President of Concur Commerce Network, an e-marketplace for small to mid-sized businesses. Before that, Rob served as President and CEO of Seeker Software Inc., a pioneer in Web Human Resource applications for the enterprise. As a vice president at Documentum, Inc., Reid established the company as the business and technology leader in the Document Management market. He was also the catalyst for the creation of Documentum's industry focused plans and solutions, including taking Documentum through its "Crossing the Chasm" strategies. These strategies propelled Documentum into being Silicon Valley's fastest growing software company according to Delotte & Touche in the early 90s. Prior to Documentum, Reid held executive management positions at Octel Communications, NBI, and Zenith Data Systems.
Roger Siboni
Roger S. Siboni currently serves on the boards of Dolby Labs, Cadence Design Systems and FileNet Corporation. He previously served on the boards of Macromedia, Active Software, Pivotal Software, Epiphany, and Corio Systems. He has also served on the boards of the Central Park Conservancy, the San Francisco Asian Art Museum, and the San Francisco Exploratorium.
Previously, Roger was Chairman and former CEO of Epiphany, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent customer interaction software. Before joining Epiphany, Roger was Deputy Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of KPMG Peat Marwick-a $9 billion, 85,000 person worldwide accounting and consulting organization. As COO, Roger led the firm to consecutive years of record revenue and profitability. Prior to becoming Deputy Chairman, as head of KPMG’s Technology Practice, he grew that business by over 250 percent in his four years of leadership.
A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Roger is past Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Walter A. Hass School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
Barry Trailer
Barry is the co-founder of CSO Insights, a research firm that specializes in measuring the effectiveness of today's sales and marketing organizations. He brings over twenty-five years of professional selling experience, and is an expert on sales processes and methodologies for complex business-to-business environments. Prior to co-founding CSO Insights, Barry was president of the GoldMine Division of FrontRange Solutions. At FrontRange he also held senior positions including Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Vice President of North American Sales for GoldMine Software Corporation.
Barry has presented to more than ten thousand sales reps and executives at over a hundred companies, including HP, Sun Microsystems, Conner Peripherals, and Hitachi Data Systems. From 1983 to 1991 he was a leading associate with Miller-Heiman, Inc. and served as president of Miller-Heiman in 1986. His writing includes a novel, Sales Mastery published in 1991, The Sales & Marketing Excellence Challenge: Changing How the Game Is Played (co-authored with Jim Dickie) published in 2003, Contributing Editor for Sales & Field Force Automation (now CRM) magazine (1997-1999), regular contributor and panel member of CRMguru.com (2001-2006) and several white papers on sales process.
